I haven't done much with clothing. I would like to, but given time limitations have preferred to focus on projects that are not constrained by size limitations. Accessories have a broader base and sell more quickly, but I toy with ideas of garments that would be fun to make. The blouses below were a trial run for trying my hand at production sewing. I used gorgeous Bali batik fabrics.

"Cute as a Button" was a piece I donated for a fundraiser for Project Aids Orphan. I decorated a kid's pair of jeans with buttons and beads. Altering already made clothing is appealing to me as it repurposes clothing that could be purchased at thrift stores. As I am more interested in surface decoration than in the actual construction of garments, this would be one way that I could work more with clothing.
