| In this series, I was interested in merging East/West images from the past to make a statement about our present, hoping to create harmony of situation which contrasts so starkly with current hate trends between Christians and Muslims. I combined both reverse painting on glass with decoupage to make the collages. Everything is painted or glued on directly to the glass. The big challenge is to keep from getting air bubbles in the sealing process. Some were also just images asking questions about gender or work. | |||
