The amount of garbage we generate distresses me.  Many artisans around the world have found ways to make their garbage into a natural resource, creating new and interesting crafts from what would otherwise end up in land fills.  I try to do my part through recycling and re-purposing what is around me. 

The following video shows two purses that I made using the candy-wrapper folding technique.  The technique also involves sewing and fits in with the textures I have been exploring in fabric.
