As a part of Dara Tribal Village's social mission, Galeria Dara showcased local artisans and community organizations who produced art of a tribal or ethnic nature.  Special exhibits tended to occur every two months, with the intention of eventually becoming a regular monthly event.  Opening events normally involved live music or dance and food.  The social goal intended was to provide a venue for artisans who sought access to a larger market.
