Incubated businesses are owned and operated by separate business entities. The Peace Villa may offer to purchase shares or partial ownership of the businesses. Owners subscribe to the mission, meet regularly with Peace Villa staff for planning and decision-making. Each business pays a rental fee to the Peace Villa, based on shares of resources used (land, build-out, energy, marketing, and common services like marketing, landscaping, upkeep, taxes, and security). The Peace Villa may offer nominal shares to each business. Programming, product design, foods and design of space should all serve to create a cohesive emphasis on the richness offered by native peoples around the world. ˇ Food: (incubated) A café offers healthy, organic meals with internationally inspired menus to both employees and guests.
