I started quilting in the mid 1990's, just for kicks.  No one told me that there is an addiction connected to fabric!  Now that I am immersed into the quilt world, I see this is not a light matter...  fabric, fabric, everywhere!

I have been influenced by the bold colors, stitches and textures of tribal cultures in Asia, Africa and South America.  Until recently, I only used recycled or hand manipulated fabric.  And, I also started machine quilting which I resisted with a passion!  I like appliqué, embroidery, adding textures through beads, yarns and folded fabrics and am starting to explore photo transfers.  The learning process is endless, but thoroughly captivating!

Unfortunately, I did not document earlier projects properly...  So, there are many early pieces that won't make it on the record.  And, there are UFO (unfinished objects) lurking around in bins, waiting until I get to them (bottom two photos).
