CARE Mehndi
has metallic particles that actually sit in the pore and fall out as the skin
exfoliates.
These particles react with
body acids, the lemon juice and oils, rust and produce the color. Each
person reacts differently to the henna because of this.
Avoid scrubbing the design and
pat it when drying with
a towel.
Use oils to keep the color vibrant.
If the design must be removed, cuticle remover helps accelerate pore
cleansing. Swimming,
doing dishes, and other water immersion activities causes the stain to fade
rapidly. Mehndi,
acting as a sunscreen, may also give a reverse image if you sunburn with your
design.
