Few artists are lucky enough to just focus on their work. Someone
needs to get out there and let the world know that we have some work to
sell. Some of us develop business skills we never thought we would
have when we started out. Others find these demands too challenging,
especially as we rely more and more on technology.
Rayela Art is the umbrella for my business interests. It includes
the things I craft myself, the imports I sell online, and increasingly,
technical assistance jobs that I have been getting to help my peers with
their businesses. I find that I really enjoy problem solving and
helping other businesses develop their paths.
This section of my website is intended to serve as a portfolio of the
skills I have developed with my own business. I started selling
handicrafts in 1988. The market, economy and the world have gone
through huge changes since then. Through it all, I have continued to
teach myself and to learn from what works and what doesn't. Twenty
years of experience that I am happy to share. |
My focus has been in working with textiles and handicrafts from developing
countries. I support fair trade ideals and would love to work with craft
and green businesses which have social missions. Visit
About and
Resume to see if my
background fits in with your needs.
My fees are $35/hr or we can negotiate a flat fee for a job. Take a look at my other pages and if
you think that you can use my services,
email me.
Many thanks!
Rachel Biel
